It doesn't matter how many time one newly born device is called another's rival, or killer, as long as you choose to follow one's shadow, you can never win the real entity. I'm talking about the Galaxy Player, Galaxy Tab, Toshiba Folio, Hp Slate, and the like. Why must its shape take the same as that of its rival, Apple Ipod, Ipad, or Iphone ? If you like to play role of a killer, put some serious effort, in stead of discouraged imitation. Let's talk about the Galaxy Player, similar prototype, no much difference except for a highly equipped peripheral components.
This reminds me an argument I had with some friends, about what sort of business or product should we do ? A little surprise flashed in my head when they said product should serve need from the present, not the future. Like the other side of the coin, some out of the blue ideas of mine originates from years further to the future whenever my encounter of any unsatisfied process/product/events. The same question as always: "how would it look like in the future ? how would they sing a song ? how would they listen to music ? how would they live ? how would they breath, or simply how would the flush the toilet "
Well, one may argue several streams of thinking when different brains are questioned by the same question may be navigated into the same direction. However, it is not very tricky to distinguish one similarity with an imitation.
As final words, if great technology/electronic corporations wants me, as one of their faithful consumer, they must make a difference, a breakthrough, an impressive perspective, an astonishing simplicity, which demands a sophisticated process of concentration before achieving such simplicity.
Cheers,
